VAMPIRE ACADEMY

Now I finished Vampire Academy I think the Monday of last week or something. Can I tell you something? I WAS HOOKED. Totally hooked. I loved the whole few girl guardians thing and Dimitri and Christian...who can I love more? But now I am on Shadow Kiss and this book is amazing too. Now I'm stuck among Christian, Dimitri, and Adrian. Decisions, decisions. I don't know but these guys have something to fall in love for. Christian is the semi-psycho one. Dimitri is the quiet sophisticated one with a bad temper--like Rose. Adrian is just the hopeless flirt among them. But God they are some people to live for...anyway...I have to get back to Shadow Kiss.....

DECEMBER!!!!

Yeah! I know! It's December!!!! OMG!!!

Yup it is. December is the time for giving and a time for everything. It's a time for Christmas parties and presents. It's time for all the Scrooge's in the world to turn nice after their own Christmas Carol.

I love Christmas.

The trees and the ornaments. The outrageous traditional Christmas pageants. The giving and the caring. It's AMAZING! So that's all I had to say. But yeah. So far December's good, but it can get all messed up.

High School....sucks?

Yes...when we think of high school that is what we think of. Some people say, "High school was the best four years of my life!" or "High school? That was the worst four years of my life, I would never go back." or it's something extremely random like..."High school? I'm still mad about Judy for taking MY man. I mean seriously can't she keep her hands to herself?"

Now for me I'm just a freshman. Yeah that's right I said it, I'm a god damned freshman. Here I am going to a bigger campus to harder classes and you know what I think?

I think high school is a mix of times of total suckishness and a time for total awesomeness.

Don't go saying, "WAHT?" In your little text message language. It's true. As for me I'm still a freshman and that means I'm not really a high schooler....more like a toddler going into kindergarden. We really don't know everyone and your a little scared to what's ahead...but hey that's high school. I'm not really making much mistakes here but some people are I guess and I'm starting to wonder if that's a vision of how their future will be for the next three years. If it is...than my next three years aren't that bad...you know considering the total homicidal family life, I have it's not too bad :D

This is probably what some people were thinking about the first day of school. Whether it be new people, new school, new neighborhood, new friends, old enemies, first day of school outfits...whatever... That little girl in the picture? Yeah that's probably some of us the midnight before the first day of school. Oh well...I guess life will get better...you know, when hell freezes over.

Random BLOG!

Hey! Now I just got back from Hawaii and it was a good trip. I just don't like the fact that I missed a few important stuff I left in Cali. Anyway I mostly spent my time in the hotel room, at the beach, or in a bookstore...basically what I do at home so honestly it wasn't the grandest of trips. One thing that was really amazing is that I went to the Polynesian Cultural Center and although I didn't get to see all of the exhibits I still loved it. I also went to the Luau they had and the food was delicious! I can't wait to come back but that's going to take sometime...Hawaii's expensive!!! Now I will tell you this...I bought Mocking Jay on Monday but read and finished it yesterday because I was reading it on the flight and I was determined to finish it. So that basically wraps up my trip in a paragraph...I guess.....so that's it :) happy end-of-summer-school's-starting soon!

Mocking Jay

Suzanne Collins has done it again! Mocking Jay was a compelling, fast paced, and heartbreaking book. It was better than The Hunger Games and Catching Fire put together. The way Suzanne puts Katniss's pain in losing so many friends and loved ones is difficult. She makes it look so easy. Katniss's adventures never stop, the ending was a cliffhanger itself. By the end I start to cry, there are so many unanswered questions that I won't ask because it will ruin the book for those who haven't read it. The way one person can start a fire with one gesture in the arena in The Hunger Games is hard to wrap your head around but not impossible. I believe that Katniss's character alone will open the eyes of teens everywhere to the cruelty us humans are capable of. Rather she's fiction on sitting in our classrooms right next to us, the girl we know as Katniss; the girl we know to live through the cruelty of President Snow and being deceived so many times she can't separate the lies from the truth, is all around us, reading this book and realizing that human cruelty is always endless.
This page turner is heartbreaking, frightening, terrible even, and a book that is unable to put down. Even on my flight back from Hawaii I couldn't put it down, knowing that the presence of the book yelling "READ ME! READ ME!" is temptation enough. Knowing that Katniss's adventure will be stalled is just icing on the cake and I can't let go. Want to say so much more but that would be a total spoiler alert!

Some Boredom and a Mini Blog.

So I have just been to Vegas for my spring vacation and it was incredible. I went to shows, Circus Circus, and got to stay at the wonderful Wynn hotel. I loved how it had a great view and it looked so pretty at night.

Also in other things I have been reading a whole stack of books...AT THE SAME TIME!! I know I'm crazy but it's true. I've just finished The Looking Glass Wars and it was INCREDIBLE!!! I loved the ending but you're going to have to read it to find out. Also I've had some new chapters up of my stories. I think one story I'm going to put on hold because I have writer's block on it. Great my first writer's block. Anyway I have a whole bunch of books I'm reading I'll give you a list:

Blue Bloods
Bleed
The Academy
Vladimir Tod #4?
Magic Lesson (from I series I haven't touched since the summer)

Yeah it's getting bigger and the books I bought but haven't read yet are in the other side of the room.
Also anyone there in need of advice?? I've been giving people advice on YouTube in "Dear Buck" from the "What the Buck" show. I've gotten two thank you letters for the advice and I'm thinking of doing more of them. But as you can see no one really looks at these blogs....yes it's sad but oh well. So if you have any advice please tell me I can help you!!!
I may be young but I seem older than my actual age on the internet let me tell you.

Fang Book Review & Other Stuff

Hey hey!! It's me here! I would just like to say that yea I finished it and now I'm kind of depressed. But here it goes.

Okay I bought it the day it came out and i finished it that day. Now if you haven't read it then I can't tell you what happened but I can tell you he leaves one way or another. I was utterly depressed. You can deffinitely say that I was. I read it and in the end I was like, "What the [insert sware word here] just happened?!" I was mad and sad and anything but happy. But I can say that I do deffinitely like the book and recomend it if you've read the other Maximum Ride books. It was really compelling and totally dramatic; the most dramatic so far. I hope you guys read it because that would mean you kno what happens. Read and review it too!

So that was basically it. Yes it was short but my grandpa is asking me all these questions and getting my train of thought off track. I'm in the vet right now getting my dog's stitches removed. Yay! Yeah so my grandpa is sitting next to me just asking me all these questions in Korean (because I'm Korean but I don't understand maybe 75% of what he's saying. That's why I'm going to take Korean classes as my elective). It's crazy. I hope you guys the best! Also I'm going to--no, want to start an advice column. If you guys have anything to ask me ask! But make sure they're questions I can answer.

Need Review

Hey you guys! Yes it's me again! I would like to tell you that I have read two really good books over this weekend. Yes two so yea. But I would like to tell you about one or maybe both. Yeah both.

Need

This book is about pixies and its pixie dust. Now we aren't talking about Peter Pan, Tinker Bell here. We are talking about vicious pixies that drink blood. Yeah sounds a little Dracula but I've read a couple of books like these before I read this one. But honestly this book is pretty good. It has werewolves yes but not the ordinary kind there's eagles and tigers too that are weres (like werewolves). But Zara, the main character, seems like a normal girl who had just lost her stepfather. (My heart goes out to her because I know the feeling.) But it turns around and turns her world upside down. She's chased by some random guy that pops out of nowhere but he's looking for her why? Well read the book silly but I gotta say you would be stumped but you can kind of predict what happens so don't be too disappointed. I highly recommend this book to people who love fantasy and a little bit of romance.

Wake
By: Lisa McMann

This book is bizarre but not totally phyco. I must say though that it is kind of graphic. I mean really graphic that it makes you want turn turn the page but then you miss everything, so you suck it up and read. Yeah I know. But Whatever. I do however like the ending to this story. Wake is about a girl, Janie, who has a bizarre power. She can go into people's dreams. But she can't do anything about it and it makes her go crazy. Cabel is a guy you would consider a loaner, emo, goth, whatever. But as their worlds come together they learn their true feelings for each other and learn how to help one another. Interesting enough? No? Well your loss, not mine.

Leviathan by Scott Westerfeld Review

Hey you guys!!! So recently I just finished reading a book...(can you guess). Honestly this is the greatest WWI story I've read!!! Four stars! Honestly! This story is a great improv on actual history! I can't wait for the next book Bethmoth or something. I totally forgot the title.... Sorry Scott :(. Now back to happy :), I think that the two characters Alek and Deryn are total rockers!! I mean Alek, son of the Archduke Fernidad and Deryn, a common girl passing as a boy (hell yeah freakin girl power!!!). I mean whoo hoo! Honestly she's one of the best air men too, Go Deryn!! So you guys check this pimpin book out!! Check out my blog for more reviews and random stuff!! :)

The Lightning Thief Movie Review

Hello to all my fellow readers!! I just wanted to say that I've watched the movie and it didn't do that bad. Although I am a big--no huge fan of Percy Jackson and even though they did change it A LOT it still came out pretty well. Yeah, yeah no Ares big deal, no oracle so? They did pretty well with changing it. If they added all of that then it would've been more than three hours long. Now would you stay in a movie theater for four hours? I didn't think so. I mean I got tired just watching Lord of the Rings...jeez was that long. But I say kudos to the man who directed this. So if you don't like it then I'm fine with that. I mean we all have our opinion right? So hope you guys enjoy the movie...I think it would've done better in 3D but whatever. So hope you guys are having a nice week!

So here we gooooo!

1. Hannah Montana To Be Cancled.

Now before to touch that address bar let me tell you this I am NOT lying this is true from my sources. Now it is very true that Hannah Montana will be cancled at the end of the current fourth season. In the season three DVD there will be an alternate ending forthe "He Could Be The One" special that aired not to long ago. There will also be a season finale that no one will see unless they buy the DVD, which i think is total BS because they would just air it on TV like a year later but whatever. Now MY reason that they're cancled the show is because Miley Cyrus has had a little bit too much of bad publicity. I mean all of the crap she did won't you think that too? I mean little kids are watching her show and all so when she did those outrageous things, well...let's just say that parents don't see Disney the same way anymore...So how do you feel about it? Comment Below!

2. Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief.
Okay who's excited? Comment because damn I am! I'm soo psyched about this movie. Even though they changed it a lot I think that it will still be a great movie and I hope you guys agree. Now the reason they picked older characters is because they wanted a more action packed scenes than having kind of action ones like Harry Potter and the Sorcrer's Stone (did I spell that right?) action. Not much right? It's more like Order of Pheonix type of action...well that's still not really comparing compared to Percy Jackson. Just telling you out there! Now if your excited then you'll be able to meet the cast at the Hot Topic in Hollywood & Highland, but you must buy a T-shirt first to get a wristband so you can get something signed. Now you can't have any picture unfortunately... :( but hey give and take right? Anyway if they had pictures it would take too long...trust me. So who's excited? Comment!

3. "Hey it's Fred!!" -Fred= Fred The Movie!
Yup fellow Fred fans! It's true Fred yes the crazy ADD type Fred is having a movie! Now I don't know when they are planning to premier it but as soon as I know I'll tell you! Now who's excited? Who's a little surprised? Comment!

4. Demi and Selena no more?
Recently Demi went to the UK for mainly radio shows and a fan took a video and asked the question, "So how's Selena," and without thinking she said, "Ask Taylor," now do you think that this means that the known BFF's are no more? What do you think? Comment below!

The Book Thief book review

Hey now hello to all that have read my blog!! No this is a totally new book review that I didn't announce but whatever! So enjoy!!

Book: The Book Thief by Marcus Zusak

Okay i honestly have to say that this book beyond anything I have read so far is fantastic and very dramatic. First thing I will say is, I cried in the end beyond doubt I burst into tears. Now if a book can do this man it is a damn goodass book. Leisel is the most wonderful character I mean she comes in the book vulnerable and in the end she has gained and lost. This book was originally for a school assignment but as I kept reading i actually got into the book thus the crying. But honestly this is wonderful. May I tell you that when you read the book it is in death's point of view. Now I got confused when i was reading it at first then i got the gist of it. But I'm just going to save the troubles for everyone else reading this. This book showed me what could have happened in Germany during the time of Hitler. The book I am talking about right now is... I don't think I can find the words but it spoke to me. I mean this piece of literature is just strangley intense. Now I usually read teen books so on my level of intense this book is off the charts. The intensity is just crazy. But this is a really sad book but wonderful too if you understand what I mean. I don't think I've read anything this sad, horrid, and wonderful in my life. I've read a lot of books with the saddest endings but this book was unique. It actually made me cry in the end because i could feel the pain of Leisel when the bombings happened. Imagine your whole street is bombed where your best friend lived, your parents and family, the people you've known all gone in one or two minutes and your the only one left, the only one alive becuase you were in the basement writing your life's story. That's exactly what happened to Leisel. Now if you can't cry well then you just don't feel the whole thing. This book is unique and inspiring so go to your nearest bookstore an get yourself a copy. Five freaking stars for this book hands down!

Avatar Review and stuff

Hey you guys so hope you liked the Witch and Wizard book review!! Comment if you've read the book or you're reading it and like it! Now onto my movie review!

Movie: Avatar

Okay now if you guys haven't seen you are missing out! This movie is awesome, now I saw it in 3D not IMAX unfortunately :( but it was still pretty awesome. The story line is great and it beat the profit record of Titanic! Now if that isn't yelling, "Watch me! Watch me!" I don't know what is. Now go and watch that movie!!

Now also for some other stuff.

Lopez Tonight! That show is off the charts(well to me anyway)! Now I love the guests he has on that show! If you haven't watched it then go watch it 11 PM on weeknights! Also he is having a care concert for the people in Haiti on the 4th of Feburary.

So here's my first book review!

Book: Witch & Wizard by: James Patterson

This book is full of attitude, adventure, and two different perspectives! Wisty is kind of like myself. She has an attitude and a good sense of sarcasm! She's also someone who needs adventure! Whit is a great brother who will stick up for his family. In current twenty first century they are convicted as witch and wizard hence the title. But they go on this great adventure helping other kids that are also accused some as young as five of the same crime. But along the way they find out that they indeed do have powers that they were convicted of. So they learn to control their powers and help other kids. If you're into a book with action, adventure, and a little bit of magic this book is for you. It's also great for both guys and girls since it's written in both Wisty's and Whit's point of view. So happy reading!
